Customer Relations
o Defines and communicates customer service standards among all Front End personnel by instilling a culture of caring and understanding the customers.
o Handles complex and higher-level customer service issues.
o Reviews customer's feedback and complaints, and tracks these for resolution. Coordinates these matters with Operations Manager, Selling Supervisor and other concerned units.
o Ensures proper cascading of Customer Advisory.
Sales Monitoring
o Addresses and monitors over all operations of Point of Sales (POS) Terminal Modules and peripherals.
o Ensures accuracy of inputs/entries for proper data capture and sales recording.
o Ensures smooth, efficient and accurate flow of counter transactions.
o May assist or relieve Front End Supervisor in providing assistance to cashiers transaction reading and verification of sales discrepancy.
Promotion
o Ensures timely implementation of all promotional activities.
o Monitors and controls all promotional activities.
o Analyzes data on the effects of promotions to the total sales and customer traffic.
Leadership
o Disseminates and ensures proper implementation of Company Rules and Regulation and Standard Operating Procedure.
o Ensures that safety and standard security measures are being observed.
o Ensures proper allocation and scheduling of manpower and coordinates with the Operations Manager regarding manpower requirement.
o Leads, trains, develop and motivate staff to a higher level of performance.
o Evaluates and manages performance of Front End staff.
o Reports directly all issues and concerns affecting the section to the Store Manager.
o Investigates incidents of violations and prepares necessary reports. Recommends applicable disciplinary actions and serves the approved decision to the erring personnel.
Product Display and Monitoring
o Ensures that Stock Clerk and vendor merchandisers follow proper, systematic and effective arrangement and display.
o Oversees display activities and gondola management. Ensures that display is based on the standard display policy and guidelines.
o Oversees the availability / status of stocks at the selling area and ensure immediate stock replenishment.
o Ensures proper handling of items in the selling area.
o Ensures strict implementation of FIFO and FEFO policy.
o Monitor stock expiration and damaged items.
o Check and approves all items for pull-out in the selling area.
o Ensures that all products are correctly and properly labeled and tagged (i.e. shelf tags and price tags / price markings).
o Monitors the stock position of Store Consignors and checks stocks for pullout.
o Keeps up-to-date with product trends, new product lines and price increase / fluctuations.
o Coordinates with Customer Service with regards to implementation of promotion.
o Coordinates with Wholesale Coordinator with regards to wholesale purchases.
Performance Commitment
o Identifies and come up with strategies to improve quality of service, productivity and profitability.
o Assists in the implementation of measures to eliminate losses / damages.
o Coordinates and manages Company related projects and initiatives.
o Plans and controls section budget and other operating expenses.
Others
o Oversees daily housekeeping and asset maintenance of the store.
o Leads and supervises special projects and performs other duties as may be required by the Store Manager.
o Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.
