We are seeking a qualified and experienced Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in security and hold all necessary security licenses. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, clients, and visitors. Your primary duty is to ensure the protection of people and property by preventing illegal activities, responding to emergencies, and conducting regular security checks.
- Monitor and patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, unauthorized access, or security violations.
Control access to the facility and verify the identity of individuals as they enter or exit.
- Conduct regular security checks and inspections of the facility, including checking for fire hazards, equipment malfunctions, and other potential safety concerns.
Respond to alarms and emergency situations promptly and take appropriate action to mitigate risks.- Ensure the safety and security of employees, visitors, and property by maintaining a visible presence and enforcing security policies and procedures.
Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities and document them accurately.
- Escort employees and visitors to their vehicles or designated areas when necessary.
Complete incident reports and maintain a daily log of activities and incidents.- Assist in the implementation and enforcement of security protocols and guidelines.
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required.
- Use security equipment effectively, such as surveillance cameras, two-way radios, and access control systems.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Security Guard.
Possession of valid security licenses in compliance with local and state regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and lift as needed.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation purposes.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.- Knowledge of emergency response protocols.
