As a Security Engineer, you'll design, implement, and maintain robust security measures to protect our client's infrastructure and applications. You'll play a pivotal role in monitoring security alerts, configuring firewalls, and integrating security practices across development and deployment processes. Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and system administrators to ensure that security is built into every layer of the organization's infrastructure.

Shift: Night Shift, Mon - Fri 09:00 PM - 06:00 AM (Fixed weekends off)

List of Responsibilities: Encrypting Your Success

• Design and implement security solutions to protect networks, systems, and applications.
  
• Monitor, configure, and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other security tools.
  
• Build, configure, maintain, and monitor threat defense capabilities and user access management systems.
  
• Collaborate with Dev and DevOps teams to integrate security practices into systems and applications.
  
• Assist in training QA staff on security implementation.
  

• Monitor security alerts, investigate potential threats, and respond to security incidents.
  
• Develop incident response protocols to handle breaches.
  
• Conduct post-incident reviews and implement remediation actions.
  

• Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
  
• Collaborate with the dev team to remediate vulnerabilities.
  
• Document and track remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
  
• Work with system administrators and developers to implement patches.
  

• Set up and maintain SIEM for network activity tracking.
  
• Analyze security logs and escalate critical issues.
  
• Prepare and present reports on security posture to senior management.
  

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2).
  
• Support audits by providing evidence of security controls and remediation actions.
  

Requirements

Qualifications Needed: Keys to Secure Your Success

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  
• Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
  

• 3+ years in cybersecurity or IT security engineering.
  
• Experience with security technologies like firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, SIEM, endpoint protection.
  
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing tools (e.g., Nessus, Metasploit, Burpsuite).
  

• Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems (Linux, Windows), and cybersecurity principles.
  
• Familiarity with cloud security practices (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  
• Knowledge of encryption technologies, PKI, IAM solutions.
  
• Familiarity with securing Kubernetes and Blue/Green environments.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on security incident resolution.
  
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
