Paris Baguette, a Korean Bakery and Cafe is looking for Section Head - Cake Chef to be assigned in the Central Kitchen in Taytay Rizal.
Follow HACCP guidelines and ensure that colleagues comply with HACCP guidelines
- Extensive knowledge in cakes and pastries
Ensure the food cost of goods is in line with budget kitchen operating supplies, and kitchen energy costs- Observes stock conditions
Extensive knowledge and experience in cake and pastries decorating
- Prepares and produces such bakery and specialty products as pastries, cakes, pies, muffins, breads, puddings, parfaits, frosting, cookies, rolls
Requisition supply items as needed from storerooms- Prepares and bakes all bakery items for menu following standardized recipes
Looks after the full bread and pastries production line
- Estimates baking needs, requisitions supplies, inventories supplies, and keeps records of products made and used
Coordinates in details on food production, and all specific duties to all employees
REQUIREMENTS and SKILLS- Minimum 4 years working experience as baker in well-known brands
Excellent baking skills
- Strong leadership and management skills
Knowledge of health and safety regulations- Ability to create new and exciting recipes
Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication skills
