Job Description Seafreight Manager- Targets/Performance Indicators

- Responsible for national Sea freight operations.
- Represent the company in all seafreight related matters, including client meetings.
- Manage team performance (regular monthly department meetings), updated and required training's, review, preparation, and submission of month end reports.
- Manage profitability of department and shipments (Import/Export)
- Provide updated rates to sales and overseas stations.
- Engage with Global Seafreight Team for bids, strategic customers and product development.
- Select, negotiate, coordinate with different service provider (truckers, brokers, etc.)
- Liaise with Shippinglines for rates and service requirements.
- Active member in the company's leadership team to drive growth.
- Other related tasks assigned by management.
- Bachelor's Degree of higher (International Shipping/ Logistics Management)
- Minimum of 5 years Sea Freight experience as Manager
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills
- Should have good contacts with major shipping lines
- Operational knowledge of sea freight business
- Advance knowledge in MS Office
- Cargowise1 knowledge is a plus
- Direct to Country Director
