Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.

Qualifications

Summary: As a Scrum Master, your typical day will involve coaching and mentoring the Scrum Team(s), facilitating scrum and agile ceremonies, and removing barriers to successful implementation. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Your role will also involve identifying and reporting progress via appropriate metrics. Roles & Responsibilities: - Coach and mentor the Scrum Team(s) to ensure effective implementation of Agile methodologies. - Facilitate scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. - Remove barriers and impediments that hinder the progress of the Scrum Team(s). - Ensure a continued focus on the task at hand and promote collaboration and communication within the team. - Identify and report progress via appropriate metrics to stakeholders. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Proficiency in Agile Team Practices. - Additional Must To Have Skills: Experience in facilitating scrum and agile ceremonies. - Additional Good To Have Skills: Knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban. - Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to identify and resolve conflicts within the team. - Experience in using Agile project management tools. - Knowledge of metrics and reporting in Agile projects. Additional Information: - The candidate should have 3 years of experience in Agile Team Practices. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in software engineering or a related field, along with a proven track record of successfully implementing Agile methodologies. - This position is based in Manila. Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required
