We are looking for a Scrum Master to join our Education Technology Development Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a key role in facilitating and coaching Scrum teams to deliver high-value products effectively. This role is crucial in empowering the Scrum Team to self-manage and achieve their goals.

What will you do as a Scrum Master
As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in supporting Scrum Teams to deliver products that meet the needs of our customers. You will work closely with the Head of Software Development, Head of Quality Assurance, Software Development Team Lead and Lead Solutions Architect to develop and execute strategies that shape the direction of digital product development. You will help foster a positive and collaborative environment that is adaptive to change.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading with Agility: Take an active role as a Scrum Master, acting as a key agile practitioner and recommending improvements to the overall agile approach. Champion agile practices within the project team and across wider groups in Manila, Australia, and Cambridge.
- End-to-End Ownership: Along with the self-managing scrum team, you will be responsible for the overall end-to-end ownership and accountability of all Manila project team tasks needed to deliver agile projects for the Education Technology group.
- Collaborative Support: Provide delivery support to wider groups, helping to understand and communicate dependencies across Education platforms and wider technology projects.
- Mentorship and Growth: Guide, coach, and mentor team members as needed. Formulate creative ways to reward and recognize top contributors in the team and actively participate in the organization's Agile initiatives through the Agile Center of Practice.
The following will help you be an ideal candidate for this post:
- Agile Expertise: You have experience implementing Agile Methodologies, focusing on Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
- Promoting Agile Values: You excel at promoting Agile values and principles, implementing Scrum concepts and practices within the team, and helping business stakeholders understand the value of Scrum.
- Strong Leadership: You have a strong understanding of Scrum principles and practices, as well as experience in leading and facilitating meetings.
- Adaptive and Collaborative: You enjoy working in an adaptive environment and collaborating with different stakeholders to help the team achieve its goals.
