JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Coordinates laboratory activities with the faculty member to avoid the expensive chemicals to throw away.
Prepares apparatus and chemicals before classes- from test tubes to prepared slides.- Checks the returned apparatus before clearing the students.
Records keeping, such as borrowed apparatus, students with apparatus replacement, inventories and request from the professors.
- Ensures that equipment is properly cleaned and properly stored same as the chemicals and apparatus.
Explains or demonstrates how to use the equipment to the student as a help to the professor.- Processes documents for requests for chemicals, apparatus, and instruments; and ensure its timely delivered.
Prepares for requests for instrument calibration, cleaning, and repair.
- Performs other related duties from time to time and/or that may be assigned by immediate superior.
Education: Must be a graduate of any Bachelor's degree.
- Work Experience/s: Preferably with six (6) months of related work experience, but nort required.
Special Qualities/Skills Required:
Must have good hand and eye coordination and the ability to use technical equipment with accuracy; Must have ability to maintain and calibrate technical equipment; Must have experience in providing demonstrations.
