SAP Finance Solution Architect

Position Overview:

We are looking for an SAP Finance Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Finance solutions for our clients. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver comprehensive SAP Finance solutions that meet the strategic and operational needs of our clients. You will be responsible for understanding client requirements, translating them into scalable SAP solutions, and ensuring the solution aligns with best practices and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Solution Design & Architecture:

Lead the design and implementation of SAP Finance solutions SAP S/4HANA private and public.

Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical SAP Finance solutions, ensuring optimal scalability in a cloud environment.

Design system architecture and ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP PP), and external systems, ensuring alignment with cloud-first strategies and fit to standard approach.

2. Presales

Collaborate with sales teams to engage with prospective clients, understand their business needs, and propose suitable SAP Finance solutions leveraging S/4HANA private and public cloud solutions.

Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, demos, and workshops to showcase SAP Finance on S/4HANA and cloud solutions.

Create high-quality presales deliverables, including solution proposals, scope of work documents and focusing on cloud transformation and S/4HANA migration.

3. Client Engagement & Relationship Management:

Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders to understand their financial processes and challenges, with an emphasis on cloud transformation.

Provide expert advice on SAP Finance best practices, with a focus on S/4HANA and public cloud implementations, and lead client workshops to gather detailed requirements.

Serve as a trusted advisor for clients throughout the presales and implementation phases, ensuring they understand the advantages of cloud-based solutions for finance transformation.

4. Project Delivery & Support:

Support the implementation and rollout of SAP Finance solutions on S/4HANA, ensuring successful deployment in cloud environments.

Provide guidance to project teams during implementation, ensuring alignment with the proposed solution design, especially in cloud and hybrid scenarios.

Assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to SAP Finance functionalities in public cloud settings.

5. Thought Leadership & Knowledge Sharing:

Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP Finance, S/4HANA, and cloud trends, updates, and best practices.

Mentor junior team members and share knowledge to improve team skills and capabilities related to cloud-based SAP Finance solutions.

Participate in internal knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to thought leadership content on cloud-based SAP Finance solutions.

Qualifications:

Technical Experience and Skills:

• At least 7-10 years of experience in SAP Finance (FICO) consulting or architecture roles
• Proven experience in handling at least 5 end-to-end SAP FICO implementations/roll-outs, preferably in the cloud.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO, including configuration, integration, and customization of core financial processes such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, and cost controlling.
• Knowledge in group reporting and consolidation is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4 HANA, SAP FIORI and other modern and emerging SAP technologies
• Expertise in SAP integration with other modules such as MM, SD, PP and other external systems.
