Responsibilities
Oversee the implementation and configuration of SAP Finance module, including gathering business requirements, designing solutions, and maintaining project timelines.
Customize SAP Finance functionalities to align with organizational needs and industry best practices.
Provide expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to optimize financial processes and reporting within SAP.
Develop and deliver testing plans to ensure the quality and integrity of SAP Finance solutions.
Train end-users on SAP Finance functionalities and ensure adoption across the organization.
Stay updated with SAP releases, patches, and upgrades, and implement as necessary to enhance system performance and functionality.
Maintain relationships with external consultants and vendors as needed for SAP Finance module support.
Implement solutions to meet local legal requirements and compliance in multiple countries.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
At least 10 years of experience in SAP ERP as FICO functional consultant with experience in global roll outs including integration with other modules like SD/MM/PS.
Proven experience as an SAP Finance Consultant or SAP Finance Lead, with hands-on experience in implementing and supporting SAP Finance modules.
In-depth knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules.
Experience in implementing legal requirements in several countries (SAF-T, E-Invoicing, VAT reporting, etc.).
Familiarity with RE-FX and IFRS 16 is advantageous.
Exposure to Archiving and Data Retention tool is advantageous.
Comprehensive understanding of finance and accounting principles and practices.
Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation is highly desirable.
Experience in SAP Document and Reporting Compliance is a valuable asset.
Exposure to S/4 HANA Finance - New GL Accounting, New Asset Accounting and CO - Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Costing, Material Ledger
SAP certification in Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules is desirable.
Exposure to basic ITIL.
Competencies
Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders.
Advanced project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and stakeholders.
Able to work alone with minimal supervision.
High analytical and problem-solving skills.
Willing to work on a hybrid work set-up.
