The SAP FICO Consultant plays a leading role in analyzing business requirements, facilitating the implementation and operational support of SAP modules and functionalities.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Financials and Controlling (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger Accounting, Management Reporting and other related)
- Defines project objectives, project plan and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Applies subject matter expertise to identify, develop, and implement techniques to improve engagement productivity, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize cost savings and efficiencies for the client
- Leads and provides inputs for integration aspects across other project modules such as MM, PP, SD and BASIS
- Works with client stakeholders to develop functional specifications for developments
- Performs configuration based on blueprint, conduct unit test and system integration test
- Leads the User Acceptance Testing with consultants and clients and completes issue resolution.
- Prepares training documentation and conducts Train-the-Trainer sessions to Key Users and business process owners.
- Facilitates change management guiding both Customer and teams and initiating necessary support and resources
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of bachelor's degree preferably in Information Technology, Finance, Accountancy or other related courses
- 3-5 years knowledge in SAP FICO domain and integrations to other SAP modules like MM, SD and HR.
- 3-5 years of support or application maintenance activities
- Must have the ability to work with limited supervision and exhibit a strong sense of urgency.
- Must have a strong focus on customer needs.
- Must have analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and resolution skills.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and open to learning.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Works well with others and is a team player.
