Scope & Responsibilities:
- Gather requirements from the business regarding warehouse operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes.
- Assess business requirements and provide an overall effort estimate for enhancements and projects within the assigned module.
- Configure SAP EWM modules based on client requirements, including master data setup, warehouse structure definition, and process customization.
- Integrate SAP EWM with other SAP modules and external systems to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.
- Conduct thorough testing of the configured SAP EWM system to ensure functionality and performance.
- Monitor and optimize the SAP EWM system to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall warehouse operations.
- Create documentation such as functional specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing with business users and provide Hypercare support when necessary.
- Work with vendors on project delivery, enhancements, and issue resolution.
- Resolve day-to-day queries from end users.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an SAP EWM Consultant for at least 5 years, with expertise in implementing and customizing SAP EWM solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP EWM functionalities, including warehouse structure setup, inbound/outbound processes, and inventory management.
- Experience integrating SAP EWM with other SAP modules (MM, SD, TM) and external systems.
- Experience with other SAP logistics modules, such as Materials Management (MM) and Sales and Distribution (SD).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into SAP EWM solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Candidates with less than 5 years of experience are considered, provided they have a foundational experience in MM and SD.
- SAP EWM certification is a plus.
