SAP BPC (with FI) Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Understand and translate business planning and consolidation processes into SAP BPC configurations.
• Configure SAP BPC for financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and rolling forecasts.
• Configure SAP BPC for consolidation, including intercompany eliminations and currency translation.
• Develop and maintain data integrations between SAP BPC and SAP FI using tools like data manager packages and BAPIs.
• Develop reports and dashboards for financial analysis using SAP BPC functionalities.
• Perform testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) for SAP BPC configurations and integrations.
• Provide ongoing support to business users for SAP BPC applications.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest features and functionalities of SAP BPC and SAP FI.

Profile:

• Minimum Bachelors Degree with a major in IT/Computer Science/ Engineering
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience with SAP BPC, including experience with financial planning and consolidation.
• Experience with SAP FI is mandatory.
• Experience with ABAP programming for developing custom BPC functionalities (desirable).
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certifications: SAP BPC certification and/or SAP FICO certification

Good To Have:

• Experience with SAP HANA and its integration with SAP BPC.
• Experience with other SAP modules like CO (Controlling) or S/4HANA.
• Experience with data warehousing and Business Intelligence (BI) concepts.
• Experience with financial modelling using tools like Microsoft Excel
