Responsibilities
The Salesforce Tester will collaborate with leadership and scrum teams to support and improve the development of quality best practices as they relate to the organizational goals within the product area. This individual will own the overall QA, and practices for the product team and ensure processes and best practices are documented and followed
This role is in collaboration with their direct reports and alongside development teams to assess factors such as risk, value, efficiency, and quality of the development and to report back to leadership and stakeholders. This role also necessitates close mentorship and support for team members, particularly those who report directly to the Test Chapter Lead
Efforts may include the ability to create, organize, and implement a test strategy for any given application or large project, including integration, migration, regression, smoke testing, and proper documentation sign-off. Troubleshooting and detailed risk analysis may also be required to accurately relay concerns and information to all involved parties in a clear concise manner

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology, or 3-5 years of equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Technical Skills & Salesforce Knowledge:
Proficiency in Salesforce Platform: Deep understanding of Salesforce functionalities
Experience with Salesforce Testing: Hands-on experience in testing Salesforce applications, including standard Salesforce modules and custom developments.Understanding of Salesforce Architecture: Knowledge of Salesforce architecture, including objects, fields, record types, and workflows
Test Automation Skills: Proficiency in automated testing tools specific to Salesforce
SOQL and SOSL Knowledge: Basic understanding of Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) and Salesforce Object Search Language (SOSL)
Testing Competencies:
Test Plan Development: Ability to develop comprehensive test plans that cover functional, integration, system, and regression testing
Test Case Creation: Expertise in creating detailed test cases and test scripts aligned with business requirements
Defect Tracking and Reporting: Experience in defect tracking and using tools like JIRA or similar for reporting and documenting issues
Quality Assurance Best Practices: Comprehensive understanding of QA methodologies and best practices in a Salesforce environment
Performance Testing Experience:
Knowledge of performance testing tools and techniques, especially in the context of Salesforce applications
Conducts working reviews and provides constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth of team members
Experience assisting in defining and maturing QA practice, tools, and testing techniques within a team
Aim to ensure on-time high-quality delivery of sprint goals
Accountable for quality of code, testing best practices and designs
Experience in multiple forms of testing including, but not limited to: Unit testing, performance testing, integration testing, manual testing, automated testing into a CI/CD pipeline, etc.
Experience in developing, supporting, and maintaining test strategies and test plans for UAT, End to End testing, and Regression Testing
Understands the development and implementation of a Quality Assurance structure within an Agile SDLC and has a working knowledge of best practices
Comprehensive interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse group of team members, including executives, managers, IT professionals, and subject matter experts
Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and project management skills
Ability to complete all work tasks on time while remaining open to competing demands and adjust priorities
Ability to manage at least one simultaneous project
Competencies
Demonstrated expertise in overseeing both manual and automated testing activities within multidisciplinary teams focused on custom software development and system integrations
Proficiency in leveraging test taxonomies to optimize testing effectiveness and coverage
Adeptness in comprehending test data strategies and adapting them across various systems and technological frameworks
