Job Description

Job Description:

The Solutions Designer has deep knowledge of enterprise platforms technologies, practices, and procedures as well as knowledge of business processes. They rely on their expertise, experience and judgment, both on the business aspect and the enterprise platform, to plan and accomplish goals, and to perform a variety of tasks. The Solutions Designer conducts needs analysis, prepares architecture diagrams, determines impact to enterprise platform functionalities, collaborates with others for system design and support squads to ensure alignment to business requirements and solution design and continuous delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with the Product Owner to effectively elicit and verify requirements of the business.
  • Analyzes the technical and business requirements and maps them to program requirements, identifying whether for configuration or customization.
  • Works with the team Product Owners/Business Systems Analysts to document and review the user stories with functional requirements specific to the platform and supports them in communicating the requirements to the rest of the development team.
  • Reviews, provides feedback and supports the design, testing and implementation of the development team to ensure alignment with the business and functional requirements.
  • Works closely with the Tech Lead to come up with the solution design of the overall technological architecture of the value stream(s).
  • Works closely with Release Train Engineer to drive integration, alignment and continuity of delivery of the value stream(s).

Qualifications:

Domain Expertise

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-10 years Solutions Design experience experience in IT
  • 5-10 years Saleforce experience, preferably Financial Services Cloud
  • Experience in AEM (Adobe Experience Manager)
  • Experience in API (Application Program Interface) and implementation on enterprise level.
  • Experienced in implementing Salesforce projects, preferably using Agile
  • Knowledge of overall financial services industry, with experience in insurance domain

Agile Experience

  • Experienced in Agile way of working
  • Experienced in working within a team-of-teams structure is a plus
  • Knowledge of SAFe is a plus
