Role Overview: As a Salesforce Administrator, you will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and overall administration of the Salesforce platform within the organization. Your primary goals will be to assist the Products and Business Systems Manager in ensuring that Salesforce is maintained to meet the ongoing needs of the sales team, and assist in the ongoing automation of the platform through the use of Salesforce Flow declarative development tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configuration and Customization: Customize Salesforce to align with business processes and requirements. This includes creating and configuring custom objects, fields, page layouts, and validation rules.
- Automation: Utilize Salesforce Flow to automate business processes, streamline workflows, and improve operational efficiency.
- Data Management: Oversee data quality and integrity within Salesforce. Perform data cleansing, data imports, and data exports as necessary. Implement and maintain data validation rules, duplicate management, and data governance practices.
- Reporting and Analytics: Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to provide insights into key performance metrics and business trends. Assist stakeholders in interpreting data and making informed decisions.
- User Management: Manage user accounts, roles, profiles, permission sets, and security settings to ensure appropriate access levels and data integrity. Onboard and offboard sales users entering and exiting the business.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to Salesforce users, including troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and conducting training sessions to enhance user proficiency and adoption.
- Documentation: Document Salesforce configurations, processes, and best practices. Keep documentation up to date to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance with organizational standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on Salesforce releases, features, and best practices. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to drive business value.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification required.
- 1+ years experience as a Salesforce Administrator or similar role supporting users in Sales Cloud and Lightning Experience.
- Previous experience with Partner Experience Cloud and DocuSign Gen for Salesforce is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency with automation of processes via Salesforce Flow.
- General understanding of the Salesforce data model for configuration, customization, and administration of custom objects and fields.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide hands-on support to the sales team.
- Experience with data management, reporting, and analytics.
- Familiarity with Salesforce development tools and languages (e.g. Apex, Developer Console, SOQL, Visualforce) is a plus.
