Join us as a Sales Specialist for the Electrification Business Area where you will be

responsible for sales of products/systems/services within a designated market in accordance with strategy. Building long term customer relationships and managing resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identify and develop sales opportunities through pro-active selling.

This position reports to the Sales Manager and based in Paranaque City, Philippines.

Your responsibilities

  • Offering technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers/channels/Sales Specialists about ABB products/systems/applications
  • Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the optimal technical solution to meet customer needs and address complex inquiries
  • Preparing and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex product issues
  • Developing and maintaining new sales opportunities and resolving specific customer problems
  • Ensuring the achievement of budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, across all assigned product groups and in the respective countries
  • Ensuring achievement of targets on orders, Net Price Variance (NPV), and Net Promoter Score (NPS)
  • Supporting the sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers

Your background

  • Tertiary or degree qualifications in Engineering, commercial qualification or recognized equivalent
  • Preferably more than 3 years of experience in Sales in a related industry
  • Experience in Sales and Technical Sales Support role, within related industry
  • Deep knowledge and understanding on the market intelligence
  • Computer literacy and competent in using SAP (preferable), MS Word, MS Excel and MS Project Salesforce are essential and other sales and tendering tools
  • Able to collaborate within the broader business at a senior level
  • Good communication skills and assertive business acumen
