JOB SUMMARY :Reporting to the Segment Manager , this position manages customers and is responsible for the achievement of Sales Plan/Targets within the assigned territory and agreed timeline. Moreover, this position is mainly focused on the development of new business (new suppliers, new products, and new customers) and expansion of current business with existing suppliers and customers for
Paints, Coatings, and Dry Mortars raw materials. Client portfolio Should include the big players in the paints industries as part of the client portfolio.- Market and Account Development
Executes development programs/ target as assigned by the Market Manager; mainly on new products from existing Principals and customers within the assigned territory and agreed timeline.
Develops new customers for existing product lines within the assigned territory.
Gathers information on competitor's activities, customer's business outlook, and market trends within assigned territory. Communicates to relevant Market Manager.
Monitors achievement of development targets shared with Market Manager.
Executes the defined sales strategy & recommends ways to maximize profit.
Monitors achievement of sales targets shared with Market Manager.
Defines the support needed for assigned customers to generate sales
Technical assistance / Training.
Recommends credit limit and payment terms for customers after careful assessment of customer business condition.
Identifies technical concerns of customers, evaluate and recommend course of action to manager.
Ensures on-time & accurate rolling sales forecast as required under the S&OP Process.
Primary interfaces with customers, handles submission of samples/ follows up of test results and establishes/nurtures good business relationship.
Handles company and product presentations to customers shared with manager and Supply Chain.
Represents the company in good stead reflecting observance and practice of Omya's corporate values.
Assists in supplier-customer calls shared with Market Manager and Supply Chain Manager.
Prepares annual Sales Plan for the assigned customers and products shared with manager.
Prepares Quote Entries in Salesforce CRM, which is to be shared with CSR.
Diligently writes customer visit / call reports into the Salesforce CRM.
Manages all project pipelines using Salesforce as a project tracking tool.
Ensures timely collection of accounts receivables, minimizing risks for the company shared with Sales Assistant and Market Manager.
Recommends credit limit and payment terms for customers after careful assessment of customer business condition.
- Customer Complaints Management
Manages & resolves Customer complaints. Represents the company in good stead reflecting observance and practice of Omya's corporate values.
Identifies technical concerns of customers, evaluate and recommend course of action to supervisor.
Manages customer complaints shared with CSR, Supply Chain Manager
College graduate , BS Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Science related degrees ;
With at least 5 years sales experience in an Industrial business environment (B2B), selling and managing product application of raw materials in the construction industry
specifically Coatings, Inks and Dry Mortars materials.Sales Product Portfolio should include materials in coatings, paintings and dry mortar. Client portfolio should include the major players of the coatings/paints industry.With excellent communication skills and is able to confidently handle demands of clients;

Has initiative and self confidence ;
Able to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
With industry knowledge and has a good grasp of market cover;
Familiar with concept selling;
Knowhow In Sales Force is an advantage;
Willing to travel within Metro Manila, North and South Luzon. Occasional travel to Visayas and Mindanao
