Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand customer based resulting to achieving company sales targets.- Monitor sales performance metrics, track progress against targets and provide regular reports to the senior management team.
Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to drive growth and maximize revenue (more than price promotions).
- Collaborate with Marketing/Product Development and other cross functional teams to ensure alignment in sales efforts and customer satisfaction.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers by understanding their needs and providing excellent customer service.- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors and market conditions to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities for product improvement and development (vs just relaying to the Mktg/Prod Dev team what the customer is asking for).
- Develop and formulate quotes and proposals for clients in close coordination with internal stakeholders while maintaining acceptable profitability.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities to promote our products and increase brand awareness.
