SALES MANAGER- JOB DESCRIPTION, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overseeing activities of the sales department and monitoring performance as a whole
- Monitor/communicate the KPI's and target to account managers on a regular basis
- Ensure achievement of the goals and directives of the sales team as planned and determined by the top management
- Analyze patterns in consumer and market behavior and subsequently defines data driven action strategies to consistently optimize the business commercial performance.
- Manage the department calendar with regards to trading priorities, inclusive of launches, promotions, exclusive and campaign activities.
- Mentor, honing the professional/technical skills of the account managers
- Collaborate with the product development section/department in creating product intelligence.
- Monitor billings and attend weekly and monthly meetings with credit and collection.
- Regularly visit various clients in the coordination with the assigned account manager.
- Monitor and manage documents preparation during all pre-bids and bids. Attend pre-bid and bid conferences.
- Attend to customer complaints, including preparation of formal communications with the client, especially those involving billing and collection and quality issues.
- Develop market outside of the company's current client base and develop another sales team for this new client base
- Monitor and recommend for approval project estimates and pricing.
- QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Management, Business Administration or any other related field.- Ten (10) years of working experience in a sales position within a fast-paced and dynamic business environment
Proven and successful ability to lead a group of sales towards growth and enhanced sales volume and revenue.
- Display leadership skills and confidence.
Experience in evaluation product market situations transforming into actionable sales strategies and approach- Good in verbal and written communication skills
Good interpersonal and people skills
Willing to be assigned at Ortigas
