Qualifications:- At least 2 years sales experience in Freight Forwarding or Logistics
Excellent communication and negotiation skills Establishes and maintains relationships with representatives from organizations and groups in the assigned area through personal visits, phone calls, and correspondence; negotiates new or repeat business opportunities.- Confers with clients to discuss freight details including rates, payment terms (prepaid or collect), and other relevant information.
Provides the Manager with feedback on client satisfaction and competitor activities.
- Prepares sales reports for ongoing account monitoring.
Monitors industry trends and market rates.- Identifies and pursues sales leads as needed.
Participates in special events such as company sales conferences, planning meetings, promotional events, trade shows, and sales blitzes.
