Job Description

Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years sales experience in Freight Forwarding or Logistics
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Willing to work on site.
  • Responsibilities:
Establishes and maintains relationships with representatives from organizations and groups in the assigned area through personal visits, phone calls, and correspondence; negotiates new or repeat business opportunities.
  • Confers with clients to discuss freight details including rates, payment terms (prepaid or collect), and other relevant information.
Provides the Manager with feedback on client satisfaction and competitor activities.
  • Prepares sales reports for ongoing account monitoring.
Monitors industry trends and market rates.
  • Identifies and pursues sales leads as needed.
Participates in special events such as company sales conferences, planning meetings, promotional events, trade shows, and sales blitzes.
