JOB OBJECTIVES: Promotes and sells special products and allied electrical products to specific market segments and consistently meet or exceed sales targets by maintaining key and regular customers and developing new customers to become buying accounts to contribute in the achievement of sales target of the Group.
- Develops new accounts and establishes regular accounts in the assigned territory/industry to provide business opportunities to the Group.
Visits regularly the customers to know current and future requirements.- Performs product promotions and marketing activities to new and regular accounts.
Visits consultants for product information and for product approval.
- Attends and participates in trade shows and exhibits.
Provides leaflets, product brochure and samples to customers to know the products.- Gathers right information from customers, such as nature of business/projects, present suppliers, name of owner/s, buying habits and tract record to be used in decision making.
Submits quotations to customers and follow up pending transactions.
- Gives information and ideas about the advantages of the products over other competitors.
Negotiates on terms of agreements, price and cost, product specification and delivery to customers and concerned Department.- Closes sales with the customers.
- Maintains the key/valued customers to continuously generate sales opportunities.
Maintains the regular and actively buying accounts that have regular requirements to be served.- Feeds future buying trends and related information about the customer to Sales Manager.
Keeps business relationship with key personnel to make the company the supplier of choice.
- Provides a professional and excellent level of customer service with regular and new customers.
Establishes rapport and business relationship with the customers and be updated with their on-going and future requirements.
Conducts regular phone calls, visitations, and presentation to both new and regular accounts to develop and strengthen customer relationship.
- Handles customer issues, resolutions and communicates escalated issues to the Sales Manager to resolve the issues at the soonest possible time.
Provides after sales service to customers to maintain good relationship.
- Asks feedbacks from customers with regards to products and service.
- Assists in providing product and technical knowledge to Business Development Executives & Junior Account Executives.
Orients Business Development Executives and Account Executives with new and old products.
- Assists Business Development Executives and Account Executives with the technical inquiries of customers.
Guides Business Development Executives and Account Executives with salesmanship.
- Prepares and submits reports including but not limited to the following:
- Upgraded list of customers
- Sales forecast and projects
- Customer concerns
- Daily, Weekly, Monthly Activity Plan
- Other tasks that may be assigned by the superior and/or top management from time to time.
- 4-year engineering graduate Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in technical sales/sales engineer
- Willing to do field works
