POSITION PURPOSE:
Will handle the technical sales presentations, answer technical questions from potential clients, provide technical and sales information to Marketing Department, attend trade show conferences and analyze and compare product/services technical features.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
- Serves clients by identifying their needs and engineering adaptation of products, equipment and services.
Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and others in a position to understand service requirements.- Provides product and service technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
Establishes new accounts identifying potential customers and planning and organizing sales call schedule.
- Prepares cost estimates by studying all related customer documents, consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional personnel.
Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operating movements.- Preparation of sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.
Assists in developing draft advertising layouts and texts as campaign materials and presenting to management for approval and review.
- Assists in layouts and design of communications such as presentations, newsletters, event support materials, research papers and brochure.
Conduct and plan market research activities of business groups such as surveys, analysis of materials, developing price elasticity metrics, etc.- Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-term issues that must be addressed, recommending options and course of action, and implementing directives.
Performs other duties that may be assigned by his immediate head from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- Bachelor's/College Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in field construction
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
- Familiarity with the construction industry
