Job Description

Job Type:Permanent (on Independent Consultancy set-up)

Work Arrangement:Work from home if not outstation. Frequency of travelling across the region at 50% 70%

Location:Philippines

Work Schedule:Monday to Friday (day shift)

Reports to: Country Manager - Philippines

Summary:

The ideal candidate has a proven Sales Record and connection within the Mineral community.He is familiar with the region's cultural dynamics, and technical understanding on filter media and filtration process, components. He is used to travelling independently within the country.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor'sDegree/Diploma in Metallurgical Engineering from recognized institution, or a related field.
  • Proven Sales Record withat least 5 years of Mineral sales experience
  • Dynamic, pro-active work style
  • Good team player, self-motivated, well-organized and result-oriented
  • High degree of travelling in the region
  • is required
  • Technical understanding of Filter Media and Filtration processes,
  • Component is an advantage
  • Computer skills (MS office, Lotus Notes, ERP Infor CRM)

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales activities in the country
  • Drive to achieve the agreed budget and objectives
  • Balance business risks as much as possible; e.g. minimize risks of bad dept and obsolete stock
  • Build a strong brand name on client's products in assigned region - Philippines
  • Increase client Sales and market share of in assigned countries.
  • Build up and maintain good relationships to our customers and partners, based on trust, fairness and mutual understanding.
  • Understand the specific needs of the customers
  • Develop Sales & Marketing plans for business according to the customer needs and in line with our capabilities.
  • Review, update and implement the Sales plan in co-operation with Country Manager - Philippine. Convey these plans into actions and carry them out.
  • Develop and maintain price structure for the country, maintaining a good sales margin.
  • Generate value added offerings for our Customers.
  • Identify new opportunities in the country. Collect information about the markets and react accordingly. Distribute that information to client's Management if necessary.
  • Constantly monitor and update the information about customer needs and competitors.
  • Minimize accounts receivables; anticipate risk of loss by taking appropriate measures.
  • Take leading role of marketing and sales actions (including Exhibitions) of the segments.
  • Other assignment as required by the ASEAN Mineral Sales Manager, Regional Market Manager and Head of Sales-ASEAN.

  • Actions have to be in line with company's regulations & guidelines
  • Costs have to be in line with the planning
