This role involves contacting potential clients and setting up meetings to help advance the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation:
- Identify and contact potential clients through cold outbound calls (and some cold email)
- Deliver pre-scripted pitches
- Set up appointments with qualified leads
- Confirm appointments and manage scheduling conflicts or rescheduling requests
- Maintain accurate records of appointments and communication with prospects.
- Data Management:
- Update and maintain lead and appointment information in the CRM system
- Track and report on appointment-setting metrics and performance
- Provide feedback on lead quality and suggest improvements to the lead generation process
Experience:
- Previous experience in sales and/or telemarketing is required
- Scientific credentials (e.g., university degree or online courses) is considered an asset
Requirements
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude
- Your own computer and access to fast internet connection
- Ability to work at varying times of day to accommodate campaigns in different time zones
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other office tools
