Position Summary
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), your role is to generate and qualify leads, identify potential sales opportunities, and build relationships with prospective clients. You will strategically use outreach methods to engage potential customers and drive interest in our products and services. Your work should blend persuasive communication with sales techniques to initiate conversations and set up meetings for the sales team. You will also analyze lead data and adapt strategies to evolving market trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and research potential leads through various sources such as social media, databases, and industry events.
Reach out to prospects via cold calls, emails, and social media to introduce our products and services.
Conduct initial conversations to understand prospect needs and determine if they are a good fit for our solutions.
Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to create a unified approach to lead generation and sales efforts.
Set up meetings and product demos with qualified leads.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all lead interactions in the CRM system.
Continuously refine outreach techniques based on feedback, analytics, and changing market conditions.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge to effectively communicate value propositions.
Requirements:
Any graduate. Preferably Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Proven experience as a Sales Development Representative or similar role, preferably in a B2B or SaaS setting. A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets is essential.
Strong understanding of sales techniques and lead generation strategies.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to adapt communication style and approach to different prospect needs and personalities.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze lead data and optimize strategies accordingly.
