We are seeking an energetic and driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our sales team. As an SDR, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, initiating conversations with potential customers, and setting appointments for the sales team. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify and research potential customers through online research, social media, and inbound inquiries related to natural health and wellness products.
- Outbound Prospecting: Conduct outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach to engage prospects and introduce them to premium kratom products.
- Qualifying Leads: Understand the needs and pain points of potential customers, qualifying them based on their interest in kratom and assessing their fit with our offerings.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings or product demos between qualified leads and the sales team, ensuring a seamless transition.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of lead interactions in the CRM system, tracking call notes, email communications, and follow-ups.
- Collaborate with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to align on lead generation strategies and campaigns, ensuring that messaging resonates with target customers.
- Follow-up Communication: Regularly engage with potential customers through calls and emails, nurturing them through the sales funnel.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of kratom powder products and their benefits to educate prospects effectively.
- Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed monthly lead generation, outreach, and appointment-setting targets.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or a related role, preferably within the health and wellness or eCommerce industries.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to explain product benefits and build rapport with potential customers. Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
- Persistence and resilience in following up with leads and handling rejection.
- Organized with excellent attention to detail in managing multiple tasks and maintaining records.
- Self-motivated with a passion for the kratom industry and wellness products.
- Tech Savvy: Experience with lead generation tools and platforms for outreach and prospecting.
- Knowledge of Kratom: Understanding of kratom products, their benefits, and their role in wellness would be a plus (training will be provided).
