The Sales Development Representative is responsible for generating leads, prospecting new clients, setting up qualified meetings for our sales team, and supporting the CEO. This role is essential in driving company growth by expanding our client base and strengthening the sales pipeline.
Job Scope
- Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including online research, social media, industry events, and networking.
- Prospecting: Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calls, emails, and social media outreach, to generate new business opportunities.
- Qualification: Qualify leads by understanding their business needs and challenges, identifying how our solutions can add value.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule qualified meetings or calls between prospective clients and the sales team.
- Support: Assist the Sales Development Lead with executing strategies, preparing reports, and managing the sales pipeline.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all lead interactions and activities within the CRM system.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies, share insights, and enhance overall sales performance.
- Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified leads and appointments.
- Feedback Loop: Provide feedback to the marketing team on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
Job Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the BPO or outsourcing industry.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a knack for building rapport quickly.
- Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of the sales process, including lead generation, prospecting, and qualification.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Resilience: Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-Motivated: Driven to achieve targets and goals with minimal supervision.
