Sales Compensation Specialist

Job Description

  • Calculate and validate commission payouts meticulously
  • Maintain accurate records of compensation-related information
  • Manage and administer compensation plans to align with business goals and policy guidelines
  • Conduct cost and forecast modeling to support proposed compensation design scenarios
  • Proactively handle ad-hoc compensation requests and address inquiries from sales employees and management
  • Provide comprehensive training and enablement materials to enhance sales management's understanding of sales compensation plans
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to build and scale compensation-related processes and policies
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and drive initiatives to improve the overall sales compensation foundation

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or related field
  • Proven experience in compensation management, sales operations, or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Proficiency in compensation management tools and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with commission payout calculations and validation is preferred
