• Job Summary:

As a Sales Clerk at All Day All Night - Davao Convenience, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our 24-hour convenience store. You will be responsible for assisting customers, handling transactions, maintaining inventory, and upholding store cleanliness standards. This position requires a friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:

Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.

• Assist customers with inquiries, product location, and purchases.

Provide recommendations and upsell products to enhance the customer experience.

• Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and efficiently.

• Cashier Duties:

Operate cash register and accurately process transactions, including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments.

• Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed, including balancing cash drawer at the beginning and end of shift.

Process returns and exchanges according to store policies.

• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.

• Inventory Management:

Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves as needed.

• Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to management.

Rotate and organize products to ensure freshness and visibility.

• Alert management to low stock levels and popular items for reordering.

• Store Maintenance:

Keep the store clean, tidy, and well-maintained at all times.

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.

Ensure all aisles and walkways are clear of obstacles and hazards.

• Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

• Compliance:

Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines.

• Maintain knowledge of product offerings, promotions, and pricing.

Follow all applicable laws and regulations regarding the sale of age-restricted products (e.g., tobacco, alcohol).

• Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions.

• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move objects up to 25 pounds.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent customer interaction.
