Retail Sales Associate Job Responsibilities:
- Driving sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge in all sales channels.
Greeting and receiving customers in a welcoming manner and helping create a positive environment for customers to shop.- Responding to customers questions and product inquiries by providing in-depth product knowledge, including features, benefits, and overall value in all sales channels.
Maintaining a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm, reflecting our company's commitment to customers.
- Managing financial transactions by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, credit and debit cards, and other modes of payment for all sales channels
Assisting with maintaining inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.- Keeping the sales area and work space tidy
Following and achieving the company's sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis in all sales channels
- Developing and maintaining strong product knowledge by attending training classes provided by the brand in order to communicate efficiently with customers.
Preparing necessary reports and submissions in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- MUST BE WILLING TO BE STATIONED IN SM MEGAMALL, MANDALUYONG CITY FOR A TRAINING PERIOD OF UP TO 2 MONTHS.
Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Proficient in verbal and written English and Filipino
Knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements- Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate with customers, peers and management
- Ability to multitask, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business
Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision- Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Relevant sales experience within the mobile or consumer electronics industry is preferred.
Computer proficiency is preferred- Pleasant demeanor and well-groomed
