- Prospecting and Lead Generation:
Identify and research potential clients, partners, and markets for business expansion.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to generate leads and initiate contact with key decision-makers.
- Client Relationship Management:
Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients, understanding their unique transportation needs.
- Collaborate with existing clients to identify additional opportunities for service enhancement and expansion.
Present company services and value propositions to potential clients.
- Conduct negotiations to secure new business, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Market Research and Analysis:
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Provide insights and recommendations for business development strategies based on market research.
- Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, both internal and external, to drive successful partnerships.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1 to 4 years experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the logistics or transportation industry.
Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Results-driven with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
