  • Position Overview: As a Business Development Associate, you will play a crucial role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for F and C Loaders, Inc. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders in the logistics and transportation industry. This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to generate leads, close deals, and contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the company.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation:
Identify and research potential clients, partners, and markets for business expansion.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to generate leads and initiate contact with key decision-makers.
  • Client Relationship Management:
Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients, understanding their unique transportation needs.
  • Collaborate with existing clients to identify additional opportunities for service enhancement and expansion.
  • Sales and Negotiation:
Present company services and value propositions to potential clients.
  • Conduct negotiations to secure new business, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for business development strategies based on market research.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, both internal and external, to drive successful partnerships.
  • Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1 to 4 years experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the logistics or transportation industry.
Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Results-driven with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
