The Sales Representative is responsible for dealing with all customer questions and inquiries about the products and services the company offers.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Welcome and address customers in a warm professional manner
- Manage a high volume of customers in a courteous and friendly way
- Communicate to customers and address their needs
- Suggest available products, ongoing sales, discounts, and promotions based on customer cues
- Assist customers in product selection based on their needs
- Arrange the product display areas in a visually appealing manner
- Assist in keeping the store and stock area clean and orderly
- Collaborate with the sales team to offer quality customer service
- Execute operational and sales techniques while extending outstanding services to customers
- Communicate customer requests to management
- Adhere to Company policies, procedures, and practices including loss prevention
- Perform cash or credit card transactions of customer purchases
- Handle cash register and manage cash receivables and payable
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of the shift to ensure that the amount is correct and that there is adequate change
- Compute and record a total of sales transactions
- Another key responsibility is maintaining the presentation of the sales floor, products, signage, and displays
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidate must possess at least a High School Diploma or Undergraduate of any course
- At least 2-3 years (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position, specializing in Sales/Retail/General or equivalent
- Background in-store operations is an advantage
