The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional shopping experience by providing outstanding customer service, achieving sales goals, and maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing store environment. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and courteously.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
- Create a welcoming and positive shopping experience.
- Meet or exceed personal and store sales goals.
- Promote and sell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting suitable items.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to enhance the customers shopping experience.
- Participate in promotional activities and product launches.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor.
- Replenish stock and ensure products are displayed according to company standards.
- Assist in the setup and execution of store merchandising and promotional displays.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately.
- Stay informed about current products, promotions, and inventory.
- Continuously develop knowledge of product features and benefits.
- Communicate product information effectively to customers.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve common goals.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving sales and store operations.
- Support other team members as needed, fostering a cooperative work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by monitoring customer behavior and reporting suspicious activities.
- Ensure the security of the store by following opening and closing procedures.
Ideal Profile
Qualifications
- At least a SHS Graduate
- Previous experience in Sales for at least 1 year is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Proficiency in operating point-of-sale systems.
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
