Brief Description of Duties:A Sales Assistant is a customer-oriented professional who assists shoppers in finding the right products.
They provide information, process transactions, and promote sales through engagement. Their role involves stocking shelves, monitoring and reporting sales, and ensuring excellent customer service to drive business success.
Greets and directs customers
Provides accurate information on product features, pricing and promotions
Answers customers questions about specific product variants and health benefits
Ensures racks are fully stocked by doing daily inventory checks
Manages positioning and returns of merchandise
Coordinates with the Territory Sales Representative for sales directions and to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
Conducts promotional activities such as wet sampling, etc
Informs customers about discounts and special offers
Provides customer information and feedback to the Sales Team's Group Chat
Provides Daily/Weekly reports to the Territory Sales Representatives, namely:
- Sell Out Report
- Expense Report
- Inventory Report
- Sales Monitoring
- Customer information
- Monitoring of Sampling
Stays up-to-date with new products and competition
At least High School Graduate
BS in Marketing, Communication Arts, Advertising , Education or related field is a plus
Proven work experience as a Sales Assistant or similar role is a plus
Understanding of the retail sales process
Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
