Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate sales activities and distribution logistics across the United States
2. Communicate about inventory levels, ie. Out of Stock, Discontinued, and oversee product allocation to different sales channels
3. Analyze sales data and prepare reporting to optimize distribution strategies by sharing with sales and distribution teams
4. Liaise between sales teams, warehouses, and logistics providers
5. Ensure timely delivery of products to customers and retail locations, provide tracking informaiton
6. Resolve order discrepancies and handle customer inquiries
7. Maintain accurate records of sales, shipments, and inventory
8. Liaise with Supply Chain and Accounting on behalf of customers and sales representatives
9. Administer programs such as Salon Loyalty Program, Color and Smoothing Swap out Programs, and customer credits when required
10. Communicate about new products, products and Out of Stock items
Field sales team coordination:
8. Manage administrative support for field sales representatives
9. Coordinate travel arrangements and expense reporting for sales teams when required
10. Organize and maintain sales territories and customer databases
11. Prepare and distribute sales materials, product information, and pricing updates
12. Schedule and coordinate sales meetings, educational events ie; classes and trade shows, and training sessions
13. Assist in the creation and distribution of sales reports and presentations
14. Manage the ERP system, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates
15. Facilitate communication between field sales teams and other internal departments
Educator coordination:
16. Manage a roster of technical educators and their availability
17. Schedule technical educators for client demonstrations, training sessions, and product launches
18. Coordinate technical support for sales team presentations and client meetings
19. Arrange logistics for on-site and virtual technical education sessions
20. Track and report on technical education activities and their impact on sales
21. Facilitate communication between technical educators, sales teams, and clients
22. Ensure technical educators have up-to-date product information and training materials
Requirements:
1. Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
2. 2-3 years of experience in sales coordination or distribution management
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
4. Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and inventory management software
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Knowledge of US logistics and transportation regulations
7. Experience supporting field sales teams preferred
8. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
9. Familiarity with technical product demonstrations and training processes a plus
