The Sales Account Officer is responsible for planning, developing, managing and controlling the company s sales opportunities as well as assets. He/she shall be responsible for meeting the sales objectives of his/her assigned territory by promoting or leasing out T1 Transport's heavy hauling units through professional sales techniques, providing excellent customer service and promoting long-term customer relationships.
- The Sales Account Officer shall be responsible for:
Prospect and identify the clients/projects in accordance with the Company's goals / objectives and target markets as defined in the Planning Strategy.
- Managing the proposals and ensuring the successful negotiation of new purchase orders and that these have adequate margins and of acceptable risks to allow budgets to be met.
Conduct contract negotiation with the customers, preparation and review of contract drafts and the finalization of the contracts together with the assigned Legal Representative.- Develop and maintain good relationships with clients and potential customers.
Gather/obtain information on market conditions; prospective client/project details, market projections, competition and other market developments that shall assist the company in maximizing its sales and profit objectives.
- Monitor market and competitor activities and report the changes to the Sales team and execute agreed actions.
Provision of inputs, customer feedback, and assistance to the Company's operating group in-line with Company's overall efforts in improving customer service, environmental, safety, and health.- Ensure efficient and effective flow of the Sales Process.
Help in ensuring the company's commitment in providing safe and on-time transport services that will give satisfaction to our customer.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned by his Superior.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
- At least one (1) year of experience in sales or account management related to transport.
With good connections in major market segments such as Construction, Heavy Equipment Dealers, Power Industry, Industrial and Logistics.- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
