JOB SUMMARY :Reporting to the Segment Manager COG, this manages customers and is responsible for the achievement of Sales Plan/Targets within the assigned territory and agreed timeline. Moreover, this position is mainly focused on the development of new business (new suppliers, new products, and new customers) and expansion of current business with existing suppliers and customers for
food (raw materials) specifically for processed meat, dairy, and oil filtration market segments.- Market & Account Development
Executes development programs/ target as assigned by the Market Manager; mainly on new products from existing and/or new principals and customers within the assigned territory and agreed timeline- Develops new customers for existing product lines within the assigned territory.
Conducts market survey for the assigned customers.
- Identifies and develops new business opportunities and new customers to ensure successful market penetration.
Conducts conceptualization and cross-selling of products based on consumer goods product portfolio to be presented to potential customers.- Proactively gathers information and regularly updates on competitor's activities, customer's business outlook, and market trends within assigned territory. Communicates to relevant Market Manager to initiate counter strategies.
Executes the defined sales strategy.
Develops and executes sales plan to secure order for the company's products to achieve the assigned target.
- Conducts regular visit to customers. Acts primary interface with customers and establishes/nurtures good business relationship.
Represents the company in good stead reflecting observance and practice of company's corporate values.- Establishes extensive customer orientation, aligning business development strategies with customer's future directions.
Negotiates with assigned customers for sales of product line. Ensures company's profitability.
- Monitors achievement of sales and development targets for assigned customers and proactively addresses the gaps against targets.
Identifies technical concerns of customers, evaluates, and recommends course of action to Market Manager.- Ensures on-time & accurate rolling sales forecast as required under the S&OP Process.
Manages and projects necessary inventory level for each product/business situation to ensure efficient inventory level.
- Conducts product presentations and demonstrations to prospect customers in a professional and high-quality manner.
Assists in principal-customer calls in coordination with Market Manager.
- Takes charge during principal visits by planning the itineraries in advance, preparing background reports for principals, and finalizing visit reports promptly. Liaise with customers and principals on follow-up action
Defines the support needed for assigned customers to generate sales.- Attends technical training & trade shows as needed.
Recommends credit limit and payment terms for customers after careful assessment of customer business condition.- Ensures timely collection of accounts receivables, minimizing risks for the company in coordination with Finance and Customers Service Representative.
- Customer Complaints Management
Handles and resolves customer complaints up to resolution in a tactful and professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction consistent with company's guidelines.- Coordinates investigation with Sales and Logistics/Warehouse/ Supplier.
Communicates with customers updates on complaints according to company Customer Complaint Process.
- Reports and Documentation
Prepares customer visit reports, reports to principals, and trip reports using company CRM tools.
- Prepares weekly & periodical highlights/lowlights.
Prepares monthly rolling forecasts, sales, development/status reports and annual Sales Plan for the assigned customers and products.- Prepares product costing and quotation for customers.
May travel outside Luzon as required by the job.
College graduate , BS Chemistry , Chemical Engineering, Food Technology or related courses
- With at least 5 years sales experience in an Industrial business environment (B2B), selling and managing product application of raw materials/ingredients forfood - processed meat, dairy, and oil filtration industries.
Exhibits excellent communication skills and negotiation skills- Driven and able to work with multiple priorities under pressure
With industry knowledge and has a good grasp of market cover and concept selling
