The SAFETY OFFICER is responsible for the overall safety program creation, improvement, and implementation for the whole organization.

• PART OF THE SCOPE WOULD BE:

Creation of applicable safety programs and standards as mandated by the provisions of the Labor Code of the Philippines, all domestic laws, and internationally recognized standards. Ensures engineering safety standards are being implemented in the whole organization (Head Office, All brands, and Warehouse/Commissary).

• Partner with other departments in the implementation of the identified safety standards and practices.

Assess the existing policies of the organization and recommends necessary improvement.

• Implement a safety program and consistently monitors its compliance ensuring that the employees know its value and importance.

Conduct safety audit and provide necessary reports to the Board

• Conduct damage assessment and update policies as needed during emergency situations

Ensure the whole organization is compliant with applicable safety regulatory requirements

• Directly reports to the Technical Services Manager

• QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of Engineering, Business Management, Economics or equivalent

• Preferably with at least three (3) years working experience specialized in Engineering Safety for facilities and restaurant establishments

With valid Safety training from DOLE or DOLE-accredited Training Organization

• Willing to work on site and respond to emergency situations as needed

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and different reporting tools
