Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures- Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management Lead/Assist relevant organizations in the investigation of any accident, and prepare recommendations to mitigate these incidents.
- Conduct of studies and benchmarking activities to identify appropriate solutions to strengthen organizational safety performance.
Formulate and implement safety plans and programs at site- Provide safety forms and check sheets for compliance, guidance, inspection and documentation
Plan overall safety facilities/activities resulting in zero-paid manhour losses due to accidents and hazards
- Orient all workers on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and have continuing OSH trainings and drills.
Conduct Toolbox/Safety Meetings and job safety analysis.- Conducts the Accident/Incident/illness investigation, recording and reporting.
Require personnel to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when needed.
Required /Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:- Bachelor's degree, engineering graduate is an advantage.
With experienced in DPWH & water Supply Project.- Experience in implementing safety policies and procedures.
Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety program design and implementation
- Proficient in MS Office; Working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus
Outstanding organizational skills- Knowledgeable of HIRAC, incident investigation, and reporting.
With at least 3 to 5 years experience as Safety Officer
- Willing to relocate in Atimonan, Quezon
