We are seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer with a strong background in building and maintaining web applications.
Develop and Maintain Applications:
Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby on Rails code.Collaborate with Teams:
Work closely with product managers and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions. Write and maintain unit tests, conduct thorough testing, and debug issues to ensure application stability and performance
3-5 years of experience with Ruby on Rails development.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent).
Experience in modern Ruby on Rails 7+ and associated technologies - Stimulus, Turbo.- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, MVC architecture, and RESTful APIs.
Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and query optimisation.
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).- Understanding of agile development methodologies and practices.
Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Heroku) is a plus.
- Front-End Frameworks: Experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.
Testing Frameworks: Familiarity with testing frameworks such as RSpec or MiniTest.
