Job Functions:- Develop, test, and maintain RPG programs and software applications.
Analyze, review, and modify programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.- Provide support for any other information technology-related task or project.
Provide technical and business application support to all employees, using any hardware or software system.
- Analyze user requests for enhancements to determine feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with current system, and computer capabilities.
Debug and fix errors in programs and software applications.- Write and maintain database scripts and queries.
Conduct feasibility studies and translate requirements into appropriate design.

Investigate issues reported on the application system to be able to understand user problems, identify the root cause (analyze code, run a debugger) and apply appropriate fix to resolve the issue.- Analyze existing program logic and design enhancements based on correction and / or modification requirements.
Must be able to read and understand, generate, and amend technical documentation in addition to completing formal process documentation.
- Provide necessary application development, consulting, support, and maintenance for corporate applications, systems, and processes.
Will be the point person for the project of migration of all data, tala tables, batch jobs, user information, databases, etc.
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming or related field.- Must have strong programming and development skills in RPG/400 (specifically RPGile) on an IBM iSeries and AS/400 systems.
Research and debug existing code.
- Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development.
Can work with team on creating the new AS400 files for the EDI processes.
