Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in commercial or industrial establishments, following specifications, and manuals, and using hand tools and measuring testing instruments.
Visually inspects and tests machinery & equipment, using electrical electronic test equipment.
Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, like wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery equipment.
Assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
Cleans lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other machinery parts using rags and brushes.
Monitor recording instruments, flow meters, panel lights, or other indicators and listen for warning signals, to verify conformity of process conditions.
Monitor instruments to ensure proper production conditions.
Control or operate chemical processes or systems of machines, using panel boards, control boards, or semi-automatic equipment.
Move control settings to make necessary adjustments on equipment units affecting speeds of chemical reactions, quality, or yields.
Repair or replace damaged equipment.
Replace worn equipment component
