Job Description

The role of Roving Customer Service Associate is to relieve manpower deficiencies in the branches and to generate business for the Bank by providing excellent customer service and efficiently processing clients over-the-counter transactions.

  • Functional
Act as reliever for branches during SMVL/ML/SL and vacancy.
  • Ensure prompt and courteous servicing of client inquiries and transactions; provide information on Bank products and services to clients.
Process over-the-counter transactions deposits, withdrawals, encashment, loan payments, miscellaneous transactions such as SSS and credit card payments.
  • Validate cash and check deposits for any technical deficiencies before posting.
Approve cash withdrawals or encashment within authority limit.
  • Record late for clearing checks on the appropriate LFC register; ensure that late check deposits are properly stamped as late deposits.
Verify signatures on inward clearing checks, over-the-counter transactions and encashment/withdrawals in accordance with CSA's approving limit.
  • Perform outward clearing functions.
Sort, bundle, and transfer all excess cash to Branch Service & Control Officer at regular intervals during the day.
  • Perform triangular balancing of transactions i.e., system record vs. source documents vs. cash/check items; ensure that all transactions and actual cash are balanced at the end of the day.
Prepare transmittal slip of transactions, tape totals; microfilm all transaction media.
  • Responsible for reporting any suspicious transactions in the branch to the supervising officer and/or BBG Head Office for immediate action.

Branch Assignment of Roving Customer Service Associate (RCSA) shall no longer be geographical. As such, RCSAs based in Metro Manila, South Luzon, North Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao are no longer confined within one area only but may also now be assigned from Luzon up to Mindanao, if the exigency of the business warrants.
  • Perform other tasks that may be assigned by superior from time to time.
  • Others

Assist in the BTL of the Branches in soliciting New Accounts on various manning agencies and schools.
  • Acts as UAT Tester on various projects/exercises related to bank system
Assist the branches in Accounts and Sigcard Clean up
  • Provide assistance to Head Office Department for any special project assigned for a certain period of time such as BBG Bankwide Conference, Christmas party and other HR related events.

Participate on BCP exercises and provides assistance for branches contingencies.

Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree, preferably in business.

Satisfactorily complete five-month acting period in teller functions
  • For new hires, satisfactorily complete probationary period in teller functions.
