The Role

As a Room Attendant, your role is to serve the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by ensuring that all guest rooms are well maintained and cleaned, providing professional customer service to the Hotel's guests ensuring all requests are handled promptly and efficiently, and providing guests and employees with a safe and orderly environment.

The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring that the appearance and environment of all guest rooms meets the highest standards as set by Red Sea Global Hospitality. He or she provides exceptionally clean, neat, and well-maintained guest rooms and corridors.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

Please note that the responsibilities outlined below are not exhaustive. Red Sea Global Hospitality employees continuously innovate in caring for the needs of the business, their guests, and their colleagues. As a Room Attendant, you will need to:

  • Guarantee the cleanliness of all guest Rooms at all times, in line with the hotel's Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols, using and storing chemicals properly, and using necessary safety materials when carrying out their tasks.
  • Ensure records are maintained for linen inventory, uniforms, and other items as applicable.
  • Ensure that lost and found items are properly stored and maintain accurate logs.
  • Monitor the condition and keep records of linen, toweling, uniforms and other items if applicable, to maintain adequate supply levels.
  • Inaugurate measures to reduce all wastage of materials and amenities that are used in the department.
  • Promoting security awareness throughout the hotel and reporting incidents to the relevant manager when necessary.
  • Ensure VIP requirements are met.
  • Ensure all special requests are met, with reference to families visiting our resorts with children.

  • Clean and maintain all working equipment used.
  • Report any damage or loss in a guest room immediately after being found.
  • Remove room service trays and place them in the service area.
  • Log room status reports.
  • Report any suspicious person, sleep outs, Do Not Disturbs to housekeeping management.
  • Perform any additional duties as required for operational smoothness.
