Job Description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Raw Material Inspection
  • Receive and inspect incoming raw materials to verify their quality and quantity.
Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of raw materials.
  • Use various measuring instruments and testing equipment to assess material properties.
Check for conformity to established specifications and standards.
  • Documentation
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of raw material inspections, including test results, batch numbers, and inspection dates.
Generate inspection reports and update quality control databases as required.
  • Communicate any non-conforming materials to the QA Specialist or relevant personnel for further action.
  • Testing
  • Conduct physical and chemical tests on raw materials as needed, following established testing procedures.
Evaluate test results to determine material quality and compliance.
  • Identify deviations from specifications and report them for corrective action.
  • Sampling
  • Collect representative samples of raw materials for laboratory analysis or additional testing when necessary.
Ensure proper sample handling and labelling to maintain sample integrity.
  • Quality Assurance
  • Collaborate with production and procurement teams to address quality issues promptly.
Assist in investigating and resolving quality-related concerns and non-conformances.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.
  • Safety and Compliance
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling and inspecting raw materials.
Stay updated on relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to raw material inspection.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality policies and procedures.
  • Equipment Maintenance
  • Maintain and calibrate inspection and testing equipment to ensure accuracy.
Report any equipment malfunctions or calibration issues for prompt resolution.
  • QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or technical training in quality assurance is a plus.
Proven experience in raw material inspection or a related quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance principles, techniques, and testing methods.
Familiarity with measuring instruments and testing equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php15,
  • 00 - Php16,000.00 per month
