Role Summary
The position holder is responsible for providing support to the Renewable Energy Project Development and Execution (RE PDE) Team on the different phases of the day-to-day processes in acquiring various permits, documents, lands, and rights of lands for the transmission structures and road right of way by planning, managing, and implementing in order to achieve the objectives of ARI.
The position holder secures and organizes necessary documents, permits, and other requirements needed in acquiring rights of way over the lands and practicing due diligence.
Outcomes Expected And Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination with technical, engineering, legal support teams the identification of potential routes for transmission line and access roads that meet the requirements and collaborate in determining the pain points and potential legal risks and executes plans based on direction set by RE PDE team leaders.
- Assists in the management of commercial and legal risks throughout the transmission line and access road right of way acquisition process, and participates in ensuring that ARI's interest is protected and that the project objectives are met transparently and sustainably. Activities include but are not limited to:
- Facilitates the gathering of required documentation for screening, land due diligence, and land rights processes from landowners and government agencies.
- Establishes due diligence and financial close process for all aspects of the property.
- Facilitates the internal approval and document control process for property agreements.
- Provides visibility to the Transmission Line Right of Way Manager on immediate concerns, to enable teams to create forward moving plans.
- Creates venues for discussion with internal resources and cross-functional teams to identify the risks presented in the land documentation and other information
- Liaises and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to achieve transmission line and road right of way acquisition targets. This include but is not limited to:
- LGUs and National Government Agencies for securing the project endorsements for the development of proposed renewable energy projects in relation to transmission line and road right of way,
- Other Government entities, such as: DAR, BIR, DENR CENRO (for titling), Registry of Deeds, etc. is concerned (e.g. required inspections for permits and clearance purposes); for the preparation and processing of permits and clearances and/or for the early resolution of issues concerning clearance and approvals, matters regarding ordinances, regulations, taxes, and property laws.
- Community leaders and other concerned private entities regarding community concerns that need to be addressed
- Conducting information drives for the promotion and acceptability of RE PDE projects; initiates/attends council/group meetings for the facilitation/adoption of required resolutions
- Lawyers, permitting, and engineers to determine whether sites are suitable for transmission line routes and roads and lead the process of acquiring rights to the land.
- Networks of real estate agents, brokers, and/or consolidators
- Oversees and organizes the applications for each of the permits such that these are completed properly and accurately, including the submission of all required attachments.
- Maintains and strengthens relationships with the different stakeholders, and collaborates in mapping on potential supporters and blockers based on engagements made.

Minimum Qualification
1 year relevant experience in real estate, energy, or law
2 Years Of Project Experience
Bachelor's Degree in any 4- year course
Experience in due diligence, basic assessment, and negotiations in land acquisition and conversion.
