What's The Role All About

The Revenue Management Systems Specialist is responsible for all revenue management-related systems. He/She is at the forefront of the department's digital journey, delivering analytics and automation requirements, leading projects on system migration and updates and leading change management on people and processes during transition periods in the organization. He/She will become the super users of the department's systems/tools by acting as the first-level support by investigating issues reported by the analysts and coordinate with the vendors for the resolution and conducting refresher trainings on the theoretical and practical aspects of revenue management processes and systems.

Who Are We Looking For

  • College or University Graduate (Preferably Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical/quantitative field)
  • Exposure and experience in airline transportation, hotel or supply chain inventory / yield management or pricing is preferred
  • Must have working knowledge of data analytics/ business intelligence
  • Must have experience or skill in MS Excel, SQL, Power BI or other data visualization tools
  • Highly analytical, data-driven, systematic thinker, and problem-solver
  • Able to work independently and fast learner
  • Ability to synthesize and communicate insights with different levels in the organization
  • Prior experience in project management and business analysis is a plus

Major Responsibilities:

  • Provide of first level system support (e.g. problem assessment and investigation) for hardware and/or software related issue encountered within the department.
  • Actively review and evaluate RM user automation needs and come up with possible system enhancements to RM solutions. This also includes periodic discussions with system users to come up with required calibration of system parameters for optimum system usage
  • Actively cascade and communicate system enhancements and product releases (e.g. new features, system upgrades, bug fixes) to department on a regular basis.
  • Manage and complete system-related testing (e.g. parameter checkout and functional tests) for system releases and upgrades within the agreed testing timeline.
  • Actively conduct Revenue Management user training of new and/or enhanced RM system features on a regular basis.
  • Actively prepare RM reports on a regular basis to ensure timely delivery and accuracy of generated RM reports.
