Retails Sales Trader

Role: Retails Sales Trader

Job Purpose:

Generate volume and income in Treasury products such as domestic and foreign ccy money market instruments, fixed income securities, foreign exchange, and derivative products from Community Financial Services (CFS) accounts.

Trades various Treasury products with clients, encodes these transactions via Kondor Plus (K+) and ensures that workflow of transactions performs smoothly and accurately through proper coordination with the settlement branch and other concerned units of the bank.

Nature and Scope of the Job

Conducts regular marketing calls to existing and prospective accounts; cross-sells other bank products and services through the following:

a. Visiting prospective and existing clients to promote financial instruments offered by the bank

b. Investing funds of clients in pertinent financial instruments to meet liquidity requirements and other strategies set forth by the bank c. Coordinating with key marketing groups within CFS in identifying business opportunities.

d. Attending to other banking needs of clients through consultative selling or by referring them to other servicing units of the bank

e. Conducting suitability assessment of clients to ensure products offered are in line with their investment needs and objectives, risk tolerance, financial sophistication, and investment experience.

Provides market feedback with regards to client preferences and rates offered by competitors, numbers of clients and product mix

Identify business opportunities and suggest strategic direction to meet sales goals

Stay updated with relevant regulatory and compliance rules and ensure adherence to all policies and procedures

Provide effective marketing tools on Treasury product and services to various distribution channels

Years of Experience

Relevant Field Experience: 3-5 years

Banking Experience: 3-5 years

License

Securities and Exchange Licensed Fixed Income Salesman

Certification

Banker's Association of the Philippines-ADMU

Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange Treasury Professional (Full Certification)
