DESCRIPTION:
- Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Half Saints
Prepare and serve cold and hot beverages consistent with the restaurant's standard drink recipes.- Accept guest payment, process credit card charges, and make changes if necessary.
Clean, maintain and sterilize glasses, utensils, espresso machine and other bar equipment.
Record food and drink orders accurately and immediately after having received them into the register system.- Stock bar with coffee and other related supplies such as ice, glassware, napkins, or straws.
Present food and drink menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
- Inform guests of menu changes and daily specials, and make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.
Clean bars, work areas, and tables.- Reset tables in the espresso/cocktail bar area.
Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas.
- Recognize and learn the names of regular guests.
Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.- Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to the restaurant manager.
Monitor and observe guests dining experience to ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service, and respond promptly and courteously to correct any problems.
- Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes.
Take food or beverages orders from guests.- Serve food or beverages to guests
Clean tables or counters after guests have finished dining.
- Stock service areas with supplies such as tableware and napkins.
Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to kitchen for cleaning. Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
- Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement.
Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests needs and support the operation of the restaurant.- Fill-in for fellow employees when needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations
